Crutey is the owner of Convertibles and Classics LLC, which he began in Plainfield, WI in January 2025, before moving to a new indoor facility next to Culver's in Wautoma, WI for 2026 and beyond.
Mike took his first post-college job with the Russ Darrow group in Madison, as a new car salesman in 1996 April. Mike was Russ Darrow Madison's Salesman of the Year in 1997 and was honored with Darrow's President's Club.
Mike became a new car sales manager for the Russ Darrow Group, before becoming the General Sales Manager at Baraboo Motors Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, Jeep.
Most recently, Mike was the President and COO of Civic Media, a Wisconsin based radio network. After 15 years of broadcast, Mike still does a Sunday night call in show on WCPT-Chicago and KTNF-Minneapolis.
In February 2026, Crutey and York began "Shop Talk" a car centric podcast.
Mike is joined the business by his son, Karston, who sells and details cars during the Summers, home from college. Mike had a son Kadin, a Edgewood College grad, and daughter Kelsey, currently modeling in LA.
Mike has been married to Liza, for 23+ years.
Dealer dog, Wyn, often comes to work at Convertibles and Classics.
